Attorney Chuck Easley is a graduate of University of Mississippi School of Law. He has been practicing law since 1980. He served as Supreme Court Justice of Mississippi from 2001 to 2008. He also served as Assistant District Attorney from 1980 to 1983, Third Court District. He had a 90% conviction rate, which is one of the highest in the state of Mississippi. He had a 90% conviction rate, which is one of the highest in the state of Mississippi. He has never lost a murder trial and has won over 100 DUI cases as a defense attorney. Has not lost a felony jury trial in Lowndes County in over 20 years.

Attorney Chuck Easley establishes a scholarship in honor of his late mother, Doris Bledsoe Easley

Beginning with the Fall Semester of 2017, Mississippi University for Women will award a one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) scholarship annually to a graduate student working towards a master's degree in the field of teaching special education. This annual scholarship was established by Charles D. Easley, Jr., as the "Doris Bledsoe Easley Scholarship." Doris Bledsoe Easley was a graduate of Mississippi University for Women with a graduate specialist degree. Mrs. Easley taught special education for over twenty (20)  years and was in charge of special education in Chickasaw County, Mississippi, prior to her retirement. Mrs. Easley and her late husband, Lt. Colonel Charles D. Easley, resided in Houlka, Mississippi, with their three sons, Bob, Chuck and Bill Easley.
